- When:
- Sunday, April 26 1:30 PM
- Where:
- Gathering Space -
- Category:

Description
On April 26th, for the first time, St. James Church will gather with our neighbor Churches to walk from Sewickley to Ambridge, 5 miles. We will walk to draw attention and support for the hungry in our community and abroad. This event is organized by the ecumenical group, Church World Service and is one of the oldest “walk” fundraisers in the Nation. Please read about the Crop Walk at www.cropwalk.org.
25% of the money that we raise through sponsors for each of the walkers will go directly to 2 local food banks. The balance goes to international organizations which help fight hunger. Catholic Relief Services is one of the many organizations that benefits from the Crop Walk.
Won’t you join us on April 26 at 1:30 to raise money for this worthy cause?
